MOUNTAIN KILIMANJARO GUIDES

Peacock has been on operation for more than ten year now and has hired very experienced mountain guides who have climbed the Kilimanjaro more than 160 times and officially licensed by Kilimanjaro National Park as mountain guides. At Peacock it is our responsibility to update our entire team of the new surrounding on tourism industry so you expect to meet knowledgeable guides.

Our Mountain guides are well trained English speaking

people and they will not only take you to the summit of Africa but also educate you about the ecosystem of Kilimanjaro National Park. Keeping you healthy and safe is our priority. Our guides are ever watchful of your welfare, and are trained to prevent and respond to emergencies. Please be advised that when the guide ask you not to proceed with the hiking especially on the last day of attempting Kilimanjaro summit please do so and turn back to the campsite or hut for a rest. Forcing to proceed might end up to serious health

problems or death. Basically when trekking Kilimanjaro you will be assisted your duffle bag by the porter and another one for preparing of tents incase of different route apart from Marangu. A climber needs a minimum of two porters who carries not more than 15 kilograms stipulated in porters laws in Kilimanjaro Porters Association.

You will need a cook to prepare your breakfast, lunch and dinner at every point (campsite or hut).

Most of the time you will find only the guide speaks good English, porters and cook do speak as well but accent brings barrier.
