KENYA NATIONAL PARKS    
Masai Mara Park

MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK is contiguous to the Tanzania largest National Park of Serengeti separated by the Mara River covers an area approximately 1500 sq. km. The park is famous for its animal's kingdom migration from Serengeti to Mara and back to Serengeti searching for the green pasture and water. This great migration involves herds of wildebeest and zebras. Like Serengeti the Mara National Park offers a unique explore of the plains of Africa by using a balloon before dawn and later a breakfast in African bushes.

The vegetation varies from woodland to grassland, forest to bush land. The park not only accommodated wildebeest and zebras but

also is home to Leopard, Lions, buffaloes, elephants and rhino. As the name is explicitly the Masai Mara is home to the Maasai people, a group of nomadic pastoralists. They keep their animals like cows, goat and donkeys and they can travel with them without any fear of the wild animals like lions and leopards. Come and experience where animals and human being share the natural resources.

THE AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK is located near the Tanzania border but further to the west making the park the best place to view the Mountain Kilimanjaro (the highest Mountain in Africa standing at the altitude of 5895 m) as you do a game drive. You can only attempt the Kilimanjaro climb while in Tanzania.

The marshlands and rich grasses of the central area have large concentrations of game view. The vegetation of Amboseli stretch from savannah plains, acacia woodlands, swamps and marshes.

The animals found in the park include the herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, Maasai giraffes,

waterbucks, gazelles, Impalas and elands. The carnivores such as cheetahs and lions are also in the park.

ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK covers an approximately 800 sq. km of total area located 325 km from Nairobi in the hot and outer edge of the enormous northern region of Kenya while to the central highlands area are the magnificent Aberdare mountains. The people lives around the park are known as Samburu tribe.

Wildlife is plentiful at the park including rare bongo antelopes, elephants, baboons, impalas and buffaloes are easily spotted.

Predators like leopards and lions are rarely see at the Wanderis Gate. The park is also home to different kind of birds more that 250 species inhabit.

TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK One of the famous national parks in Kenya is the Tsavo for its deadly lions. Located in the grassland and shrub land between Nairobi and the coast the park is divide into two parts that is east and west both having separate unique features.

While at the Tsavo East the famous places to visit include the Aruba Dam and Mudanda Rock that has a water hole makes the wildlife sanctuary to take water.

The common wildlife concentrate in East includes greater kudus, waterbuck, lion, buffaloes, impalas, ibex, suni, gazelles, waterbuck, common zebra and Grevy's zebra.

TSAVO WESTwarthog NATIONAL PARK

It is a part of the Tsavo National Park, which is one of the largest in the World. Named after the Tsavo River, which flows west to east through the national park, it borders the Chyulu Hills National Park, and the Mkomazi Game Reserve in Tanzania.

Unlike Tsavo East the park is hilly, more vegetated and greenish. The park is one of the oldest and largest parks in country at 11,747 square kilometers and located near the village of Voi.

The vegetation of the park covers semi-arid grasslands and savanna. Tsavo is more mountainous and known for birdlife and for its large mammals.

Animals found includes the bat-eared fox, greater galago, gazelle, large-spotted genet, small-spotted genet, gerenuk, giraffe, African hare, springhare, cheetah, African Civet, dik-dik, African hunting dog, Blue Duiker, bush duiker, red duiker, eland, African elephant, Coke hartebeest.
