DAY 1: NAIROBI - LAKE NAKURU

Pick up from Kenyatta Airport or from your hotel in Nairobi. Drive via the ridge of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its huge flamingo colonies and its growing black and white rhino population since it is Kenya's most famous Rhino Sanctuary. Afternoon game drive along the lakeshores searching for warthog families, antelopes, zebras and buffalos. 2-man-tent/FB BTT Camp.

DAY 2 & 3: LAKE NAKURU

Early morning game drive in search of rhinos. White rhinos are easy to observe, but we will also take the challenge of tracking down black rhinos. Afternoon game drive in search of one of the leopards living in this park. 2-man-tent/FB BTT Camp.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU - MASAI MARA

Early morning departure, for a strenuous, but beautiful and long drive to the Masai Mara. Lunch enroute. 2-man-tent/FB Bush Trucker Camp Sand River.

DAY 5 - 10: MASAI MARA

Game drives throughout the Masai Mara. The first day we will locate where wildebeests are gathering in large groups near the Mara River -ready to cross. Once we have found a "ready to cross" group we shall stay with them in expectation of watching this spectacle. Up to now most of our groups have had the luck to watch, film and/or photograph this highlight. The chances to come across a kill are also very high. Nevertheless there is plenty of time for all kind of game watching and as said before - Mara is at its best in abundance of wildlife during migration time. 2-man-tent/FB Bush Trucker Camp Sand River.
